Bloody Moo!

Yesterday evening Siska barked and barked, it was pitch black and not a soul to be seen, but little miss was not giving up. Eventually, Steve went out with a torch to find the cattle had again rammed the fencing and some were in the field. Steve had done a mix and match repair job only days ago but this time there is no fixing it. The remain fence posts had been snapped and the fencing crushed. We got rid of them and Steve sent them packing down the track, but of course they'll soon be back. The law states that it is our responsibility to keep livestock out and not the farmers duty as they are grazing on common land. But how the hell do you keep animals of this size and strength out? They simply barge through everything. I must admit it's getting me down, the sheep are sometimes a pain in the butt, but these are a different ball game. I really can not believe that it's still acceptable for them to walk freely on the mountains and through the villages. Beyond our front garden on the "boncan" we have a memorial garden for the Blanik cats and dogs, if they got in there we'd be devastated.
Lovely walk today, with NW Wales getting the best weather I think. I only saw one lorry going to the quarry, one sheep and one man who of course joined the path I was on. Just why?
Ziva did really well and was delighted to find so much shit to eat on the mountain. Is she going a little deaf or just become more awkward with age? The jury is out on that one! This afternoon she's very wobbly and tripping over her back legs - she seems oblivious of it though, hopefully she'll get back to where she was before this Monday's events.
Well, Neighbours is coming back. Call me pathetic if you like, but I'm chuffed to bits. Though it's not back till the middle of 2023 I've found the Amazon freevee channel and will get it sorted for Mum too nearer the time. So many memories of that program - going all the way back to sitting watching it with Nain and Mam in the afternoon and bickering with my Dad about it. (Like Steve he objected to watching it, but knew every character and storyline!)
Steve's birthday lunch has been rearranged, I can only hope he doesn't pull a sickie this time - lol. He is getting a call from the consultant on Monday, let's hope it's a double celebration.
