Great day yesterday at The Designer Dogs Rally at Arrowe Park in The Wirral. It was a White and Long Coat GSD charity event with funds going to canine charity's and research.
Two lessons learnt from the day,
1, my sports bra is crap!!!
2, even I can pee in the bushes when I "really" have too.
Misty and Finlay
Mist won the Best Rescue class on the day!
Both these beautiful dogs owe their lives to Freshfields Animal Rescue.
I guess Sandra's whites are whiter than mine!!!
Star of the day

Mikey Mikey also had a great day

George Michael is confirmed to perform at Keep a Child Alive's Black Ball, London, hosted by Alica Keys and Mark Rondon on June 15th 2011 at The Roundhouse, London.
Alicia Keys commented on the announcement: "I've been a fan of George Michael for as long I can remember. He is a legend and an inspiration. His work raising awareness and funds for those suffering with the HIV virus has spanned three decades. I'm honoured that George has lent his voice to our KCA cause and I'm so excited that he's singing for us at the Black Ball in London. It’s going to be an amazing night!"
George Michael Fans Crash Website In Ticket Frenzy
Fans of George Michael were so determined to get their hands on tickets for his extra London tour dates when they went onsale on Friday (20May11), they caused the sales website to crash.
The Faith hitmaker is heading back out on the road for a series of European orchestral concerts, kicking off in Prague, Czech Republic, in August (11).
Michael announced the trek earlier this month (May11) and extra dates had to be added to the initial schedule to cope with demand.
His fans flocked to the web on Friday to buy tickets for his new Earls Court dates in London on 16 and 17 December (11) - prompting the site to crash.
A statement from organisers reads, "The system could not cope with the thousands and thousands of demands from fans desperate to snap up tickets for these Symphonica Shows and crashed. It is now back up and running ............. "
He'd been surfing the web earlier, (as he does), when he came across a derogatory comment about himself on another blog. On his behalf I quote the remark published on the "Jake's Progress" blog earlier today.... "Jamie ... Rhians mental cat." Well let me tell you, Jamie is not amused...in fact he's so livid he started beating up Tia...again!
Jake, I guess I need to warn you and Linda, that he's on the rampage and if I were you I'd lay low for a few days and hope he forgets!
Today's cloudy sky's gave a strange light for taking photos, with some of my photo being too dark to use and others having an eerie feel to them. Anyway, quite like these two, the top one with views from Rhosgadfan, Caernarfon down to the Menai Straits and Anglesey. Maybe I'll come back on a clear day!
I will add some other photos to flicker.
Finlay at the back with Tali, Mikey, Asha and Louis.
But I expected no less from him!
"One of British music's greatest singer-songwriters and most loved artists, George Michael makes his eagerly awaited return to the stage with Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour later this year. Announcing the shows last week for what will be his his first European dates since the acclaimed 2008 25Live tour, tickets to see George Michael went onsale at 10am this morning and sold out within 45minutes!
A much-loved, enduringly popular figure in music, George Michael's career has evolved from the era-defining pop of Wham! to a solo career of extraordinary lyrical beauty, genuine emotional depth and life-affirming melody. Announcing a string of European dates, including a four-night residency at London's Royal Albert Hall amongst the UK shows, tickets for the London shows sold out withing an astonishing 15 minutes."
George - I Hope Your Feeling Happy Now!
Following fan club pre-sales on Friday tickets for George's new tour went on general sale today, for some it was just as chaotic, if not worse than Friday. I am honestly sad to read on forums that some genuine fans, who missed out on Friday, have not been able to get the tickets they were hoping for again today. (Though I don't understand the minority who bitterly blame the artist for this!)
Fans who signed up to the RAH's (Royal Albert Hall) own site found themselves in a queuing system, some as far back as 4,750 in the queue. Sadly for them not a hope in hell of a ticket and this before the sale had even started. Due to the huge demand and hits on the sites, Ticketmaster apparently went into melt down and Seetickets site Crashed for some time.
Before 12.00pm new shows had been added for Birmingham and Cardiff...but as yet, no more dates for MEN..damn!!!
So after all the homophobic trash in the gutterpress, yet again George your public have spoken!
Stop press and all that....7pm ish
Well bloody hell, I spoke too soon, another night added at MEN. So, "I have a question...a big f**king question;" do I or don't I? Of course I bloody did!!! Just don't tell the husband!
I was so chuffed to see Louis' brother Max, Blanik Exquisite at the vets today. It feels like years since I last saw him and his owner Rowena. Though his colour is drastically different to the rest of the "E" litter his head and expression are typically of his family. Max always did stand out in the crowd, we christened him "Celyn Pen Melyn" because even "in the nest." his colour was always so different. I was chuffed to see he has grown into a stunning dog who is apparently bomb proof and a credit to his doting owners....even if she did call him a knob!!! lol
I just can't get my head around this...
and I'm feeling a little thick....again!!!
I can probably only afford to do 2 or 3 concerts.. so should I only list my 3 preferred Cities? I so want to get close to him, I've never been lucky enough to have had that experience. I'm worried if I list 5 I may only get "invitations" to pre-sales for maybe the 2 I'm least likely to want to do. But I prefer to get them than nothing....make sense?..maybe eh!
And Now I hear pre-sale is 10am on Monday...I'm not home this Monday!!! AHhhh - PLEASE HELP!
5. Wait for your invitations
Prior to each show's presale start time, all interested Æccess members and a random selection of GeorgeMichael.com login holders will be selected to receive invitations to participate in our presales. Each invitation will include a special, personalized link that can be used to purchase up to a maximum of four tickets per show....
"Ok, get ready people, TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!
This tour will be very different from 25 Live tour
For a start, having lost 15 pounds since then, I'm thinking of doing it naked...:)
Just to show off my youthful physique.....:)
You will probably be happy to hear that I changed my mind and decided to play arenas after all..... :)
There was no other way to make sure you all get a chance to see the show :) "
I'm so happy today, for me this is just THE BEST news. A little money saved from my birthday, better broadband and I'm ready to go....
Some of My German Shepherds during a walk at Llyn Ffynhonau.....
and my Greek God, Mr George Michael
As it states above in the blog description,
This Blog Is ........
"DEDICATED TO THE LOVE OF GEORGE MICHAEL AND GERMAN SHEPHERDS."
If you have no interest in either, then it's simple, choose to stay away from this site! There's no room here, or in my life for patronising comments which clearly upset me and leave me feeling bitter. Sadly for me my bubble is far too easily burst.
All my friends know that these two things are my sanity in life, my escapism from what is sometimes a mundane existence. I don't force my opinion of either on any of you. In fact to keep myself "Safe" I find it easier never to discuss George in certain company, which is sad for me really as I would love to share my excitement of forthcoming tours and "the" wonderful conversation we had on twitter with more of my friends. But my fear of being humiliated in company prevents me from doing it....Ah well such is life!!
But I would like to ask one thing of you...Please allow me the same courtesy and sensitivity in life that I allow you. Please bare in mind that I am passionate about my chosen breed and "My George." Hands up, I admit, try as I do to fight it, I'm far too over sensitive. But like it or lump it I know I can't do anything about it, hell I have learnt to accept that this is who I am, maybe now you could learn to accept me for who I am too?
Kai - In American Kai means "Ocean," but its Scottish meaning is "Fire." Strangely the Welsh meaning for Kai is "keeper of the Keys." His full title of Kaiser originated in German and means "leader."
Kiri - The origin of the name Kiri is Cambodian and means "Mountain" and in Maori Kiri means "skin of a tree or fruit" I think we prefer the Hindu girls name where the meaning of Kiri is simply "Flower."
Asha - In Arabian, the name Asha means- "hope" or "wish." Other origins for the name Asha are Indian.
Louis - In French, the name Louis means- "Famous warrior," from the Old German Chlodovech. Eighteen kings of France have borne this name, and Louis was used by the French royal family for hundreds of years.
Finlay - In Irish, the name Finlay means- "blonde-haired soldier." Other origins for the name Finlay include, Scottish and Gaelic.
Mikey- the meaning of Mikey is "who resembles God?" or "Who Is Like The Lord?" In Russia Mikey also means "Godlike" or "Graceful."
Tali - name is a variant of Talicia. In Sindhi Tali means "Rising Star!" In Hebrew Tali is "Dew from heaven"
and it's Greek meaning is -"Blooming." (Not blooming nuisance!)
(For Future reference - In Hebrew, the name "Ziva" means- "Splendid")
Looking after Misty whilst Sandra is in Oz is an absolute pleasure. A lovely dog with a wonderful character and a fantastic outlook on life. Hard to believe Mist has, as far as we know, had 3 homes already. So pleased she has now found her 4ever home!
