This morning we've had a stud enquiry for Orin. The bitch has had her health tests done, but they are still waiting for the results from the BVA (no surprise!) As you can see, Roxy is a bi-coloured bitch and is from working lines. Her father is a Polish import and her mothers line is German. Orin's mother line goes back completely on showline German and British bred animals, whilst Fransisco is from Italian and German bred showline animals. Therefore, it's not surprising that any puppies born would have a COF of 0% - which means no common ancestors found. Wow - can't get better than that!
Ideally it would be great if Orin had an experienced tart for his first mating, but it looks like it's not to be as Roxy is a maiden bitch too - damn! He always gets quite worked up when Kaiah is in season, so here's hoping his ability will be as good as his intentions. Nico and Ziva were both maiden, and we got there, actually we had the same situation with Dexi, Kai and Jay's first matings. I'm quite excited, but nervous, I only hope he's as good a stud dog as Nico was! (Nico says if Orin can't do it .. he will!!!)
