Despite the press and their constant criticisms of everything he does, George has a comfortable lead in the Grammy.com pole for the best performances from the Olympic ceremony. He currently has 42% of the votes having gone up from second place with 34% last night. Go on, do it for me ....Vote For George
A friend Spotted George today in an article about the closing ceremony in a German boulevard paper :) She translated the text:
"He came, sang and mesmerised: George Michael, 49, at his first performance after his life-threatening pneumonia in November. Relaxed, he performed the Mega-Hit "Freedom" - and the new song "White Light" in which he came to terms with his near-death experience. "Tonight you are in the centre of the Universe!", he shouted into the enthusiastic crowd. But in reality, he was their benchmark."
