Three On The Hill

Could have been a lovely walk, but there were cattle everywhere and an array of cars coming down from the shooting range. I'd closed the gate by where the cattle grid used to be, and I'm sure I'd pissed off the drivers as they all had to get out to open and close the gates lol, but we were safe!
Today we met up with Louise, Steve's daughter and family. They won't come here as Evan (grandson) has an unhealthy fear of dogs, anyway they were telling us about their recent scare with cattle ... the family were chased when walking a footpath and had to cross a river and go through brambles and gorse to get away from the cattle. Craig, Louise's husband, had scratches and scars to prove it. I really don't think cattle should be free roaming on the mountains, in villages or on footpaths ... Farmers should be required to keep the bloody things contained in fields!
These are not in a field, yesterday they were all collecting around our gateway, tomorrow they will probably be in the village!
Meet Darla, next door's new lodger. She has been separated from her horse family as she was being bullied. I find it so odd that often an animal in a family is bullied ... it happens here, and Jimmy Choo is the victim here.
