The 51-year-old star was claimed to have entered the facility because he was reportedly smoking 'as many as 25 joints a day' before deciding to seek help at the Kusnacht Practice, according to German news websites BILD and 20min.ch.However his rep denied the claims, saying: "George has not just entered rehab but is spending time in Europe. He is well and enjoying an extended break."
Does the fact that the denial is in quotes make it more credible? I don't know, however I can't help but remember all the denials when he was in the Vienna hospital in 2012.I don't know why the rep would deny the rehab rumor if it was true; there's nothing shameful about seeking help for a problem. And the 25 spliffs a day? Hell that's old news from the 90ies!
