Loki Update

Maybe only something a doting owner would notice, his head looks different, like it's more dish shaped. Maybe loss of muscle with a higher dose of steroids?Anyway he doesn't care and my little druggy is still doing well.

Beti

Well I tried to get a nice headshot, but I wasn't as successful as Katrina. Now I look at the sisters they are alike but with some obvious differences. Beti has a lighter forehead and much bigger ears. I still think Beti looks like her dad at the same age .. and Polly's colouring reminds me of Callan and Isla, going back to Nico again of course.
A lucky shot of her stood in the field, yeah I'm happy with that, she looks very balanced for her age, but I fear her front movement will not be her fortune.
Loving the snow!

Just A Little Snow

... but it caused excitement for the dogs and a little disruption for the humans. Steve had a doctors appointment at 8.50am - and like I said last week, what goes down needs to come back up. Whilst he got to the doctor without any difficulties, he couldn't get the car back up past the cattle grid. Of course the snow was not the problem, but what was there was frozen. I knew when I got the message to say he was stuck that we had a problem. I was out with O and Siska at the time but I knew with their enthusiasm that it would not be wise to take them down to meet him. I put them in and took Zeus with me for the mountain rescue. Steve is not steady on his feet as it is ... and it was a very slow walk up to get him home, but thankfully we got there.

Beti and Polly
Stunning headshot of Polly, I don't know how Katrina has managed it. Probably one of her other dogs attracting eh! I love the photos that I get, but they are not this quality. Must try harder.

Left And Left Again

Mr S was not impressed as I set off to explore the bridle path further. He was concerned that I would get stuck or in trouble going to all these new places! Life is for living and exploring, I told him where I was parking and in normal lights I can see well enough to not have issues.

So it was left, and left again ... coming up this narrow path I came out in Bryn Hyfryd, so close to Zeus' pratt path! Anyway from there it was a 5 min walk to the van. I really hope to finish going straight down one day next week, but Tish tells me it splits up again further down. Hmmm... So two more bits to explore either with Zeus or Orin and Siska.

Quiet Out There

Another great day for walks, and so peaceful. I saw the Vizslas in the distance, but thankfully no one else. Tomorrow is Sunday, I don't like Sundays on the mountain! I've not seen the Bully man in ages, I do hope he is conforming to the law!

Are You Eating?

Miss Siska is now full of fun again, but she's hardly eaten in a week, other than treats of course, she'll take your hand off for a fish cube! I have been trying not to show concern, trying not to pander to her, just normality and plenty of exercise, though I must confess I've made some fish stew and chicken broth for everyone, but with her in mind. Anyway, last night she ate a full meal, and another this morning. Hopefully things are settling down now. Luckily, she had a big coat to hide her ribs eh!
Miss B is still messing about with breakfast too, though she does finish her dinner and now gets a small supper again. I think her weight is Ok for her size, but I don't want her to lose any.
The beautiful Jimmy Choo with us cooking dinner last night.

On The Mountain

Some amazing winter lights today. Black sky and sunshine for the first walk.
Frost and Ice on the rocks
Oh Orin!

We Went Left

Not a great walk, but I'm glad I went and will go again, with Zeus maybe. Ideal really if Steve is popping to Penygroes and I want to change of scene.
As predicted it came out by Suzanna's house on the road out from Carmel towards Rhosgadfan.
