Lovely couple of walks today, stunning day, the lull before the storm I take it! Tomorrow's forecast looks quite scary. Orin and Siska are still together, with no reason to separate them yet. I seem to have had a bit of a dead tree obsession today. I've walked this track towards "Castell" a few times over the last year, I was walking down it last December when we got caught in a snow blizzard. Today I had a slight detour with these two and saw the potential for lots more walks. It's just that what goes down has to come back up again!

I set off down the same track, but this time veered left and with little effort found myself on top of the slate heaps with just the best views of all round, but I particularly loved the view looking down towards the Nantlle Lake.
