New Phone Day
There's nothing as exciting as a new phone day is there. Just happens my upgrade day happens before Xmas every two years. I opted for another Samsung, having had 4 I've found nothing better. The last one I had was a Galaxy 5 Neo, bloody wonderful phone and to be honest I was a little reluctant to give it up and did think of just going onto a sim upgrade ... but the excitement of a new version was just too much for me. I haggled on the price with them and eventually got it down £3.20 a month .. better than nothing I guess. Anyway it's now in full working order and this is the first photo I took .. nervous couple of days for my clumsy self waiting for the case to come now ...

Llandudno Critiques
G (1) 1 Stanley's Blank Jeevana. 12 months old bitch, just out of puppy. Lovely feminine head and correct ear carriage, dark eyes with good pigmentation. Nice front, good bone and a good reach of neck. Correct shoulders, topline ok and a nice body. Good hindquarters and tailset. Moved well and well presented. Although stood alone was a worthy winner.
O (1) 1 Stanley's Lokean of Blanik. Sh CM. 3 year old dog, has a lovely masculine head with dark eyes. Nice front, good bone and a good reach of neck. Correct shoulders, good body and topline. Correct tail carriage, moved well and was well presented.

The Other Walking
Clear and dry in Fron,
but maybe I should have noticed the mist and low cloud in the valley!
No idea why the colour is poor in this .. ah well!
Walking With Gail
This morning I left a dry and bright Fron to walk in a wet misty Bryncir with Gail and her Springers Cadi and Diesel and her Beardie Gracie. Neither Kaiah or Ross had met Gail's dogs so I was a little apprehensive. They are all rescue dogs with a few hang -ups, but they are managed brilliantly by Gail. Cadi the Springer bitch is shy but keeps to herself and is happy to walk behind the others. Diesel is a typical Spaniel and is off scenting and mooching. But Gracie is a different kettle of fish, she is initially nervous and barks and flies out at the other dogs. I knew the boys would be Ok, but wasn't so sure about Kaiah. Bitches don't take kindly to this kind of threatening behaviour. Though Kaiah was obviously intrigued at the strangers behaviour she didn't once retaliate and we had a lovely, but soggy walk!
We usually follow the walk with a bacon buttie in the garden centre cafe but we were sharply informed that it is now closed till February. Gail and I both felt that the manner of the staff member who spoke to us was out of line and we doubt we'll go back there again. We ended up drying out in front of the log burner in the pub and now will probably go there after our future walks.

Coatless Kaiah
Love both these photos of my little bastard bitch! Well she is a proper little cow at times. Affectionate, obedient and sweet, but jealous, quite spiteful and a right bully too. I think the main problem is her intelligence level, the brighter ones are always harder work aren't they!
Anyway finally I can feel a difference in her coat, it has that lovely soft feel to it so hopefully by Manchester Champ Show in a month she'll be in full bloom again, or at least getting there!

Still Limping
| Poor Ross didn't see the rock sticking out of the snow! |
I know I'm paranoid, you know my glass is usually half empty .. but as this is the third time now he's been lame on this leg I always fear the worst, especially because without doubt the first time the pain was in his elbow. Logically I do know what happened this time, and last time (he and Loki crashed, both were lame!) so I shouldn't be getting myself in a tis about it, but we are who we are and it is my nature to worry and see the worst case scenario.
It's a beautiful morning and the mountain calls me .. What do I do? Damned if I do, Damned if i don't me thinks!

Oops
It came off in my hand. I was just looking at the lump on Tali's ear and thinking that it was growing quite quickly. For want of a better description, it looked like a flat wart. Steve and I had decided to leave well alone; at Tali's age there is no point in messing about with her and the vet had agree it was best left but to keep an eye on it. Anyway I decided to take a photo of it to send to a friend who had seen it before and get her opinion. I took the photo and the bloody thing just came off in my hand. It has left no noticeable scar, looks like it was never there .. how odd!
