"Thundercoats (or ThunderShirts) work by applying gentle, constant pressure to a pet's torso, which is similar to swaddling a baby or using a weighted blanket, to calm their nervous system. This pressure is believed to release calming hormones like endorphins and oxytocin and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing anxiety during stressful situations like fireworks, thunderstorms, or vet visits. The result is a more relaxed and secure pet, with many users seeing improvement in anxiety-related behaviours."
Anyway, the night went well, I put a blanket on the floor next to my side of the bed for her and I was aware that that is where she slept. (Zeus usually sleeps by the door) I did get poked in the face by her wet nose at 3.20am and then again at 6.40am. Both times I said firmly "Go and lie down." She did, nearer 8am I was the one who woke up the camp!
