Vale of Clwyd

For the last three years Vale Of Clwyd C.S have run an Open Show and a Companion show in conjunction with each other; hats off to them I say, running one show a year is hard enough for me. This year the Companion show was being held in aid of Merlin Dog Rescue, so we decided to take Finlay as well as "The show dogs" to support the event. In the Open show Breed specialist Carole Marsden was judging the Pastoral classes and I thought Asha and Nico would be more to her preference. Nico won the PG class and Asha was second in Open. Nico then went on to drag me round the ring and win BOB.
In the Companion show Finlay was entered in Best Veteran and in the Best Rescue classes, he was third in both. Thanks to Linda for taking Finlay in the ring, and to Mark for battling it out with a rather naughty Asha. Your face said it all Mark ... how Nico and I laughed at her antics. But not to be out done I do have to confess that Nico almost took me out of the small ring as we went round and jumped up at the judge as she presented us with the BOB rosette!!! And Finlay? Was he perfectly well behaved? Was he hell, he shit in the ring!!!! Don't you just love them!
