Just a fantastic day at Driffield yesterday. Our breed judge was Shonagh Reid. It's was so great to spend time with our lovely bunch of friends in the breed and to catch up with special people now in other breeds. I think we laughed for most of the 14 hours that we were out.
When you know the limitations of your dogs, you are more than happy to accept your placing graciously. So yeah, I was more than happy with Meerah's third in PG, thanks to Owen, her handler who did an amazing job with our "Mwnci." Beautiful bald Beti was her usual exuberant self and won limit with my lovely mate Sarah at the helm.
We stayed to watch the groups, Benzes giving a super performance to gain group 3. Jane with Jodie, Owen with Nala and Ellie with Kona also doing a brilliant job of representing their breeds in their respective groups!
Huge congratulations to Jackie with lovely Ruma who was Best Female.
Little Zavi had a great day, thanks to everyone who were more than happy to babysit, and with so few of us there, it was just so lovely to see everyone helping each other in and outside the ring.
A fun trip home, the lunacy probably fuelled by hunger and tiredness. We stopped for a Maccies, Owen and I almost choked on it from an unexpected remark from Linda ... OMG! PMSL What's said in the van,
stays in the van!!!!!
