Beti, Siska And Sticks

Baby girl is doing Ok, coughing but still bouncing about happily. Just waiting to see who goes down next now!
Siska is now bleeding, I've still no idea when we can say was the beginning of this season, I'll have to rely on Orin to keep me up to date! Just a few little daffodils opening on the "boncan," better weather is on the way!

The sticks that now line the bottom corner of the bottom field are beginning to wake up. They are some variety of Willow Tree, and one of the fastest growing trees, growing up to 3 meters in one year I'm told. Mr S has informed me they are "Salix Viminalis," at the moment it's hard to see them or refer to them as anything but "sticks!"  I really hope they grow for him as Google say they like nutrient-rich soil ... but what do I know, I'm just the gardeners' wife!
