Interdigital cysts

Poor Nico seems to have a bit of a problem. He's been licking between his toes a bit and on investigation he has a lump between his toes on his front right foot. I had no idea what it could be. He's not lame on it and we would not have noticed  had he not been licking it at it! I know we shouldn't google these things as you usually do find worse case scenario but I have found food for thought and something to try before going to the vet ...  "Interdigital cysts: (growth between the toes) Soft to firm fluid-filled swellings that form in the web of skin between the toes. Occasionally, these cysts will rupture or discharge their fluid. You can do treatment from home and typically see physical improvement within a week. We recommend soaking your dogs paws in Epsom salt for 10 minutes 2-3 times a day."  Well we'll get some and give it a go. Apparently some do become too annoying for the dogs to live with, but removing them is difficult and recovery is slow! Of course we don't know that this is what this lump is but with Nico not showing discomfort we have no reason not to try this course of action first.
