Siska out with her bodyguard in the field. Her temperature is varying between 37.4 and 38 and she has eaten two small meals. I would therefore conclude that there will be no puppies tomorrow, or at least in the early part of tomorrow. If we can catch the dip in temperature (Sammi went down to 36.4) coupled with a huger strike, then we can hopefully pinpoint the delivery to be with 24 hrs. Of course, if the dip happens overnight, we may miss it. She is already digging a little, but nothing dramatic, and her spine is not yet protruding.
Steve and I made a last minute decision to go out for lunch today. If all goes well over the weekend, then we won't both go out together again for some weeks. It was lovely, but a bit of deja vu as we sat on the same table next to the same people as the last time we were there!
