Please excuse the silence, by now I was hoping to have written about the birth and be buzzing with happiness. Sadly I'm not, I think we are losing puppy Mica. He was the smallest male but came out fighting fit. Overnight, I noticed he looked unnaturally round ... I was hoping he had over-eaten, but by this morning I was becoming more concerned and rang the vet. I was told to try some Lactulose from the chemist and hope for the best. So far there is no change and I fear he may have an intestinal blockage, or something similar ... Sadly if that is the case there is nothing they can do and we will have to let him go. Mica is resting on Siska's paw after his medication earlier on, even if his life is short we will never forget him.
