Well a bit of a one! LOL
Parking on the outskirts of Carmel we started off from where I was with Ross and Beti on Wednesday, passed Wendy's and over the stream. But rather than circling back, we went down past the track that led to where Helen used to live and followed an unfamiliar footpath back up to the old chapel. (I must try and remember what it's called) Ross and I had been there before ... it's then a short walk back to the van along the bottom Carmel to Rhosgadfan road. Linda and I had attempted this walk before, but cattle stopped play that day, glad we got to go today.
Having made a stupid cock-up with Zeus' flexi lead last week I'd been wearing cycling gloves. For some reason I grabbed the tape as Zeus set off, I should know better but a moment of madness eh! Thankfully this time, no harm done other than a stinging hand, but the implications are scary .. Anyway I bought the gloves last year before I had my Carpal Tunnel diagnosis, I thought they would help, they don't, they didn't, but for these leads they were great, were being the operative word! I left them on top of the fire to dry - went to make lunch and Meerah took them out, they are no more!!!
