Vet Day

Beth, Ginger, Ken and Basil
Spice and Chilli at the back, Biscuit and Orin at the front

The pups did really well on the journey in the van to the vets .. and of course having to go in to see the vet without us. 😮 (It's Ok we armed them with treats!) Ken's testicle is almost there, not quite in the scrotum but the vet agrees it's very close and should it not fully descend castration will not be a huge operation. .. So here's hoping it will soon be in the scrotum. Little Ginger has a slight heart murmur. Being grade 1 it is very very slight and hopefully it will go, but there are no guarantees. Heart murmurs in dogs are graded on a scale of one to six. Grade I murmurs are the least serious and are barely detectable with a stethoscope..  but should her owners want to change their mind then of course it's their call.
A couple of photos taken from inside the consulting room as we waited outside. The vets favourite, Basil, and her namesake Beth.
