Just had a call from a friend who works at the vets. Sadly the vet has confirmed that there is nothing that can be done for the lump, but they will organise for me to get some steroids and antibiotics for Mikey's cough. We are both still hoping that the cough is something he picked up at the show and not anything more sinister. Should the coughing continue beyond this week then Mikey will have to go for X.ray's next week. I am feeling a little optimistic as the boy hasn't been coughing with the same vigor today, and a lot of dogs in the area have had Kennel Cough following recent shows but I feel in this case that giving him the meds is the better option.
