Beti Went AWOL

Well Ok I went with her. It's very odd walking just one dog, but she and I had fun, and I guess it's good sometimes to spend some one to one time. I was going to Tremadog to help Mam have a bath and change her bed, but by the time I got there she decided she didn't want to do either! I've been taking meals down every other day, she says she doesn't want to eat, but I think it's more likely that she doesn't want to cook as she is eating what's prepared for her. She still looks poorly, I guess this will take time!

I'm about a mile from where I grew up, walking on the footpath that runs along the bottom of the mountain "Alltwen."  The path runs from the top of Penmorfa where my Nain (grandmother) used to live, to behind the primary school I attended in Tremadog, then across the road and you are back on the old railway line track that passed mum's house and on to Porthmadog. I loved walking the old path from home to see my Nain (grandmother), most of it remains the same but there are changes as the "Alltwen" hospital was built and opened about 15 years ago.
Mum said this dwelling used to be called "Ty Cerrig."
Similar thoughts to the photo of Orin and Siska yesterday, what is she thinking? I'm on the foot of Alltwen, and you can just see the hospital in the trees. I saw the mountain opposite everyday of my childhood when I opened my bedroom curtains, Moel Y Gest is still one of my favourites.
