Loki had his injection yesterday, and a kiss from Beth. He's so chilled about it all. Injection in neck, fish in gob, and it's over.
I discussed with Beth the possibility of doing Beti's hip and elbow x.rays under sedation, she wasn't keen on the idea but will look into it. Having been off on maternity leave when Kaiah died she couldn't really give her thoughts on what happened .. I get that and I don't think there could ever be a reason other than tragic bad luck! Like I've said before, during my 12 years at Freshfields I took thousands of animals to the vets, not one died under anaesthetic, not a single one, but understandably my fear of anaesthetic is now great.
