Look at this photo of Derrick and Orin. Ann hadn't quite finished standing Derrick but it shows two dogs who regularly go head-to-head who are of the same type. Their length of fore leg is just greater than their depth of chest - as it should be. They are both "slightly" longer than tall, as the standard requires. The highest point of the backline is the wither, the overline then flows down through the back into the croup without any raise, bumps or dips. Neither have exaggerated hind quarters, actually neither dog is exaggerated in any way shape or form! Both boys have strong, poweful reaching movement, you are knit picking between them and both are capable of doing a days work.
Could this?
