Siska has just had the most traumatic experience of her young life. A bath and a blast. She hated it so much, but with show days ahead of her, she will have to get use to it. Actually, they do get use to it, no one here has hated it like Ross did, now he's waiting for a"go!"
Orin isn't overly keen, but he's quite relaxed about it now. We don't have needs for a grooming bench or table, but the boy is very helpful standing on the garden bench so I don't have to bend down. I'm still fighting to get this rough hair/wave to settle on his croup .. Hopefully in time it will.
Tomorrow is Siska's first show. There are no breed classes, she has to go into Not Separately Classified Pastoral Puppy and Orin is in NSCP Junior, so I'm not expecting much We are taking the gazebo in hope common sense will prevail and we can use it. If not we'll build a tent with blankets and the parasol around the large crate for the dogs. I have wet towels and a cool mat ready to take ...the dogs will be fine, but without the gazebo that leaves us out to bake!
