I struggled yesterday, probably can't deny I did too much on Sunday but with the weather as it was I just had to make the most of it. It's not often I give in to codeine but last night before bed I had too.
Manchester Champ show has drawn a great entry of 101 GSD's, but my lot can't go as Sarah is judging. Having handled the 4 youngsters it meant none of them were eligible for entry under her. I have entered Asha in veteran, but with such a great entry I feel no pressure to go. Asha will be 10.5 years and competing against young veterans (7 years) she could be way out of her depth.
Actually in a way I'm glad we are not going, Sammi and Loki look good but Kaiah is really throwing her coat and Ross looks a disaster area. I hope he's not going to loose his coat and look like this three times a year, after all it was October by the time he had his last coat back, now he's as bald as a coot again. Steve and I keep saying there can't be anymore to come out, and still it does! (And the grooming gloves are fantastic for pulling out the dead hair - thank you. )
Little Perry seems to have had a growth spurt - though you can't really see it in this photo, (I'll see if I can get better today) bare in mind he is sat further back than Choo. I never thought Choo would make such a big cat, he's the same size as Junior, tall long sleek and impressive looking boys. I still can't get my head around the fact that Choo struggled to find a home, I'll never understand why he was passed by time and time again. To me he's beautiful, extremely affectionate, though he can be a little demanding and pushy. Anyway I just can't see Perry making the same size, maybe he'll be like Billy was .. but as I said look at Choo.
Perry loves the other cats, particularly Jamie and Choo, but there is a difference in him the last couple of weeks. If Jamie is one end of the sofa and I'm on the other he now chooses to cuddle with me and not Jamie. Nice yeah!
