Kaiah's Better

Kaiah is much better this morning. Though she started her antibiotics yesterday I had started her on pearl barley on Sunday. Having seen it work so well previously I'm convinced it's taken the edge off  before the antibiotics kicked in. The vet who treated Tali with it as a baby said she did not want to start messing with antibiotics at such a young age and told me to use the pearl barley and the liquid it had been cooked in only. Of course Kaiah is older and in season so a slightly different scenario but I will continue to give it to her after the antibiotics have finished.
