Hip Score???

All in all, it went well today. A thorough examination, and everything explained clearly to me. I'll try and remember it now. Apparently my hip and knee joints feel good, very good rotation and no obvious osteoarthritis. The muscle in my left buttock, the piriformis muscle is very tight. I've been given exercises to do. I've known since I first started having knee pain, about 15 years ago, that my left femur is longer than the right, hence the way I walk. I turn my right foot out and don't put it flat on the floor, well hell I can't, it doesn't reach! LOL Anyway my knee is taking the strain of the misalignment and that is what is causing the pain, she referred to that as patella femoral joint dysfunction. I have good mobility and strength in my left knee, but poor strength in my right knee. I asked if my weight could be contributing to the pain, she said no, definitely not, it's all basically down to the femur length and that's just the way I was made, or grew! I think she said musculoskeletal malfunctions, anyway she does feel that I need a referral for physio which I was happy to go ahead with.
