Wild And Safe

I had yet another meal out yesterday as I caught up with Lesley and Gail in the airport cafe at Dinas Dinlle. It's looking fab there now with a great menu, I think I'll be going back!
Following lunch Gail and I took Meerah and Beti onto the beach. It was almost deserted and bloody wild! Gail almost lost my van door, I guess if you are not used to the weight it catches you out. The girls had a fab time, but for safety I did keep "Beti Boncers" on the lead. Bless her, she's such a good girl, but her and Meerah are quite a combination of madness! I'd forgotten my phone at home, very unusual for me, I'm grateful to Gail for the photos.
I love my dry robe coat, well I love it for dog walking in bad weather. I would never wear it as a fashion piece, I'm quite aware that I look like the 5th telly tubby in it!
By the time I got home the wind was howling I hooked the gate back to get in, as soon as I got the van through it was blown off the hook, I was just lucky my van didn't get walloped. I was desperate to get Meerah to club, but common sense had to prevail; to start off with I'd have had to ask Steve to come to hold the top gate open for me to get out and seeing as he struggles to stay upright without "weather," well I just wouldn't ask. I have so many commitments here, I know it's my choice to have 8 dogs and 6 cats and along with Steve and Mum they need me to be safe and well, so there is no contest they are my priority!
