Finally Zeus and I got to explore the tracks further, going through the gate and carrying on out till we joined the road from Carmel to the top of Rhosgadfan. I saw where the track separated further, so that's another route to try on another day. I loved this section of the walk more than the one that I took previously. I will be going back.
