Predictably Choo has an infection from a bite, maybe another cat, or maybe something he was trying to kill fought back. He's had a slow release antibiotic injection and hopefully he won't need to go back! He was such a good boy, but was offended when it was suggested he should sign in at Weight Watchers! Honestly I don't think he's fat, he's a big cat!
I had a chat with Jamie (the vet not the cat) about Loki. I told him that within a day of having the liberela injection that Loki had improved dramatically, but that now he was showing pain again. He said that often as dogs start on it the relief runs out before the month is over, but as it builds up in his system usually the relief last 4 - 5 weeks. Loki can not have another injection until next Monday, it isn't safe to give it early, but as he said as it builds in his system the timing can be extended. I've made another appointment for next Monday ... and we can sneak into the woods again with a bit of luck!
