Dad is still with us this morning. It was explained to me last night that he may live a few more days. The morphine syringe driver gives him regular pain relief and keeps him in a deep and comfortable sleep. I hadn't taken that in yesterday, and it does give me comfort to know he is not experiencing discomfort. I really don't want to wish anyone dead, but pain free is essential.
This photo makes me smile. Dad was never good with dog management. Give them one each dad - as Ross puts his head in the pot! This was actually the last time my parents came here together, July 2020, a very little Orin, Asha and Jamie complete the picture. After this, covid rules, followed by his ill health from early 2021 changed life dramatically for us all.
