Three bitches have vomited and two have had diarrhea in the last 2 days.
Kaiah was first to vomit, it was as if she didn't know it was coming, she was asleep on the sofa and the next thing she was throwing up all over it. Thank god for thick throws! Sammi was next, huge quantities of food and all kind of other unmentionables, and before the day was out Ziva was doing exactly the same. But no one was ill, and after one missed meal and then a light one they were back to normal.
In the early hours of yesterday morning Tali had me up and had an explosion .. I thought "oh no IBS flare up again" and put her back on the antibiotics. But Steve and I both observed that the diarrhea was very yellow and that's not normal for Tali's IBS, the things dog owners discuss over breakfast eh! Anyway because Tali was quickly back on her mertanizadole with fish and pasta and she seemed settled by last night.
At 3am (ish) this morning Asha started to cry, Steve let her out .. yellow diarrhea. Just after 5am she needed to go out again, more yellow diarrhea .... just after 6am Ross was crying, I let him out .. just a normal poo but I guess the comings and goings had disturbed him. At 8am this morning Asha was rushing in for breakfast .. sorry old girl but no breakfast today and scrambled egg for dinner I think. For Asha not to have her food must feel like punishment beyond belief for her, bless her, but best be safe. So what the hell is going on? No one is "ill" with it, but there is obviously something that has upset the girls stomachs. None of them have been to a show, or dog club or anywhere really that other dog walkers go on mass. Have they eaten something? All five are pigs! Have they picked up a stomach bug, if so I hope to god that Ross doesn't get it!
So far Nico, Jezi, Loki and Ross are fine ... here's hoping it stays that way eh!
