Cwm Pennant

A beautiful run out in the van, but we didn't quite make it to the end of the valley. We stopped by the bridge to let the dogs have a run and a paddle and enjoy the stunning scenery. There is no doubt Cwm Pennant is one of the most remote and beautiful valleys in Snowdonia, and I hope one day to get all the way to the far end of the valley again. We spent many a Summers afternoon there as children, padding in the streams, exploring the old mine ruins and enjoying the freedom. I have no memory of my last visit there ... one day I do hope to go back!
