After thinking long and hard we have decided not to put Kiri through any tests. What's the point in stressing her out so we get an answer when it will not be of any benefit to her? As she's nearer 14 than anything we both agree, and so does our vet, that quality of life on a day to day basis is the priority. To keep her comfortable she will remain on a double dose of steroids and blow the side affects. With Louis loosing his fight and looking horrendous I'm feeling emotional and tearful today, and though he is younger he too is going back on a double dose of steroids. In my opinion, quality of life, however shortened by medication, at this stage is paramount for both.
