About half way through the second walk the rain came thundering in on the wind. From head to toe in waterproofs I was coping well until I walked into the rain to get back to the van. My god it hurt my face, it was almost like hail with the force of the wind. Walk three with the young guns was great fun. They were all as high as kites, Kaiah racing around like a whippet and the boys desperately trying to keep up. Everyone was over the moon with the standing water, with torrential rain forecast over night, tomorrow could be great fun up here .. but weather permitting I'd love to go wondering elsewhere tomorrow.
