George Michael - Going To A Town

Finally the official video is on you tube. This is my favourite George release in some time. Seeing it live was unforgettable, it made the hairs stand on the back of my neck. Watching this video still takes my breath away. The video is mainly a live recording from the tour, showing off his powerful flawless vocals, and this time he's even got the lyrics spot on! There are also clips in the video of the rehearsals for Symphonica, this was one of the last projects that Phil Ramone worked on before he died. A sad loss to the music industry.
The song was written by Rufus Wainwright (he who sings"Swing Both Ways" with Robbie) and was written about the devastating affects of religious rights on gay rights in America. A very powerful song that really should make you think!
