Happy Halloween

Just the night for a sexy Vampire ...
It's well known that I love Edward Cullen, and I quite like Jasper and Emmett,
and to be honest Carlisle looks pretty sexy in his baseball gear too.
I was quite partial to Laurent , But James gave me the creeps.
And then of course there was Mitchell!
But Photoshopped or not, this is the Vampire for me
The sexiest Vampire I ever did see!!!!
Sorry George!

Gossip And Tale Telling

So apparently I'm in trouble again ... the next time I decide to have another dog I'll remember to ask all the GSD and the retired GSD exhibitors in North Wales before I make a decision ... No, actually I'll ask the whole of Wales their opinion ..OK? Before Nico's arrival  I told the people I chose to tell, after he arrived I told the world.
Am I pissed? Nope! Expect nothing different from the people concerned!

And If "That George" does tour again I'll also get the permission of all my friends and family before purchasing tickets; especially if I intend going to more than one concert and leaving poor little defenceless husband home alone with all the animals!!!
Am I pissed? yeah a little, but I expected nothing different from the person concerned!
Thanks to both my friends who came forward to tell me what had been said behind my back, true friendship. Sad that people have nothing better to talk about and brood about. Sad they can't see beyond the box and actually see the good the two things in question have done and do for me.

In The Paper

Love this Write up for Nico from Gill Gray at NWA. Though for some reason he's listed as being owned by his breeder, he was/is mine ... honest!!! Unless Heather has a cunning plan to steal him back in the middle of the night;  No worrys there I have a dark tortie cat on duty .. even I'm scared of that!

Louis

Sadly it was not a great check-up for Louis at the vets today. I wasn't shocked to find out that he's still loosing weight. He now weights a scary 24.4kg, so two thirds of his normal weight. I really am at my wits end, there simply is no answer, all we can do is take it day by day. The three of us fully agree to keep him on 10mg of preds a day. Though I fully understand the implications of having him on this dose of  steroids I feel there is no answer so quality of life is paramount.
Louis eats reasonably well, missing just the odd meal. He's now on a fish and potato based dog food and his stools are often firm on this food, though I do wonder just how much he "gets" from his food these days. Still there is no way I'm giving up. Whilst Louis' quality of life is good and he remains playful and funny then sod the inconveniences ...we will continue to fight for him.

So Which One Of You Bought It For Me?

Pop star George Michael has auctioned off a selection of images of dogs to raise money for an animal charity in Kensal Green.
The montage of the pets, owned by himself and other musicians, sold on eBay for £680 yesterday (Monday).
The Highgate singer will donate the proceeds to the Mayhew Animal Home in Trenmar Gardens.
Several of the photos are of rescue dogs from the animal sanctuary in Trenmar Gardens, when they were being fostered by George and his crew on his ‘Symphonica’ tour entourage as they waited to find a forever home.
The 49-year-old singer, who had a hit with a track titled ‘Shoot the Dog’, tweeted last week: “Just want to let you know we have a signed goodie up for auction on e-bay, the proceeds will go to a dog rescue charity ... It’s a signed collection of all the pics we have called the ‘’doggie wall’’ on the tour.
“And there are three pics of my gorgeous Meg and Abbey on there :)”
The Mayhew, which was established in 1886, is entirely funded by public donations and costs more than £3,400 a day to run.
Caroline Yates, The Mayhew’s CEO, said: “Needless to say, we were absolutely delighted to hear that George had chosen The Mayhew to benefit from this charity auction.
“It is a fantastic idea to raise funds and it is wonderful to see Mayhew dogs on the wall in photos from the happy times they spent with their foster carer.”

On The Move

Louis and Jezi with Finlay and Nico in the distance
at the nursery in Tremadog.
One of my favourite childhood places but sadly not a great walk today.
Too many bloody dog walkers there!!!! lol

Tali and her precious son Mikey messing about

Ziva running with her mummy Asha
Ziva continues to impress me greatly. She must be the most obedient bitch I've ever owned, even more so than Seffe and that takes some doing. She's now running loose on the mountain through the sheep. Her "leave" is faultless and her recall instant. Maybe she can give Tali some lessons in recalls eh!! She may not be "Obedience trained," she may not walk to heel and jump through hoops but I've got more than I want from Ziva, she's very loyal and very very obedient. I'm not stupid enough to believe that I can ever be complacent when the sheep are about but I'm at least confident half of the younger generation have got the message!

Where I Hope You Are - Symphonica Tour Milano 12 Nov 2011 - For Kenny

I never had the pleasure of seeing this live because George dropped it from the set list. Knowing the meaning behind the lyrics I guess it was too emotionally draining for him to perform it live regularly. Everyone knew George was on a dangerous ride, the press made sure of that. But until his recent confession no one knew why. Kenny's addiction and demons were haunting them both. This was recorded just before George was taken ill last year ..... and before we knew much about Fadi!

Where I Hope You Are
For so long
There’s been no-one else I care about
That my heart could really be so wrong again
Well it wears me out
I had a picture in my soul
Some place warm we could hang out when we’re old
Now it’s just – where I hope you are
These days, in so many, so many ways
My life gets bad for you
But your face when you look at me, look at me that way
Tears me in two
I had a picture, it’s not your fault
But the chair in the room where I get old
Now it’s just – where I hope you are
Oh, but there was a time
All I had to do was look at you
The world was mine
I’m telling you the world was mine
I’m so sorry
It’s like all of those deleted scenes you told me about
I’d pick them from the floor
Say Darlin’, show them all once more. For me.
A child’s fears
For so many, so many years
The good life got bad for you
But there’s no-one at the end of that smoking gun
Can’t you see your Mum and Dad just won the day
But it can happen, I’ve been told
Sometimes, babe, drunken angels stumble home
Now it’s just where I hope you are
Oh, but there was a time
All I had to do was look at you
The world was mine
I’m telling you the world was mine
I’m so sorry
It’s like all of those deleted scenes you told me about
I’d pick them from the floor
Say Darlin’, show them all once more, for me.
For me.
For me.
For me.
For me.
I’m so sorry

Llandudno C.S

Paula with Asha
Another fun day with my mates at Llandudno C.S. Without my "rocks" I feared I would be a little lost but we all sat together and I realised I wasn't Billy No Mates after all .. though ladies I have to be honest, you were missed!!!! Thanks to Paula for handling Jezi and to Mark for handling Asha to RBOB, Very glad Mark didn't try and run away with Asha today ... getting fed up of retrieving her from his car.... she's mine, you can't have her! lol.

Milli
It was lovely to meet Milli, Jan's new Millaner baby..what a little sweetie she is, without doubt she's helping Jan and her family heal after the loss of Alfi. (Tali's brother)
Huge well done to Debbie on BPIB with Nico's new girlfriend Chelsey ... she's just gorgeous.
Canine Society shows are so much fun these days, well within the GSD community anyway! The days of bitching and back biting are long gone. We all sit together, help each other and support each other. Just the way it should be, but never was. I don't know why it changed, or when to be honest, but the last few years have been the best. Support and friendship, just what it should all be about.
David Bailey wasn't with us today, she's in Manchester so very few photos to share. Thanks to Debs for taking photo's of Asha ....

ATTITUDE'S ICON AWARD - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

ICON AWARD - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

Over the course of five solo albums (with another to follow next year) George has constantly reinvented his music and himself to entertain, enlighten and challenge his audiences with his song writing. All this, while providing an unparalleled influence to new and emerging music stars.
Having sold over 75 million records worldwide, George’s tireless commitment to his music makes him a very worthy winner of one of our Icon Awards for Lifetime Achievement

Going To A Town

I think my opinions on separatism of any kind is well known to the people who know me. I have strong opinions and have aired them freely! This song was one I'd never heard until I went to my first Symphonica concert in Manchester last month. It gave me the shivers then... and has done so again on the other two occasions that I've been lucky enough to hear it live. I do hope it appears on the album, and though I've never heard the original this in my book goes down as one of the classics. Fantastic lyrics with strong meaning, flawlessly sung for us in the Church of Mr Michael by the master himself!!! ;)
Three of my own photos taken from my seat ...
before "The move forward" at the Echo theater.

I'm going to a town that has already been burnt down
I'm going to a place that has already been disgraced
I'm gonna see some folks who have already been let down
I'm so tired of America

I'm gonna make it up for all of The Sunday Times
I'm gonna make it up for all of the nursery rhymes
They never really seem to want to tell the truth
I'm so tired of you, America

Making my own way home, ain't gonna be alone
I've got a life to lead, America
I've got a life to lead

Tell me, do you really think you go to hell for having loved?
Tell me, enough of thinking everything that you've done is good
I really need to know, after soaking the body of Jesus Christ in blood
I'm so tired of America

I really need to know
I may just never see you again, or might as well
You took advantage of a world that loved you well
I'm going to a town that has already been burnt down
I'm so tired of you, America

Making my own way home, ain't gonna be alone
I've got a life to lead, America
I've got a life to lead
I got a soul to feed
I got a dream to heed
And that's all I need

Making my own way home, ain't gonna be alone
I'm going to a town
That has already been burnt down

You don't have to listen, I never want to be accused of forcing my opinions on anyone .. but should you choose to the camera person is having difficulties in the beginning, but by the time he's singing it's all spot on!

George's Lovelies

Just thought I'd share a couple of photos of me with my friends from last night :)
Just incase you think I'm being Vain,
George refers to his fans as his "Lovelies"

With so many photos it's not really possible to show them all on here.
Should you wish to look click on the link below

Time Of My Life

Last night's concert at The Echo theatre left me in tatters. George was beyond perfection, and the rollercoster ride he plays with peoples emotions was on fine form! I loved the arena,(though try as I did the text messages I tried to send in the interval would not send from there!)  the crowd was phenomenal, the atmosphere for me by far the best yet and George awarded us best "fucking crowd" of the year. Since leaving the arena I've drifted from smiling/laughing to being totally overwhelmed, choked with emotion. It honestly was, without doubt one of the best nights of my life. To be that close to "My Man" was something I thought my dreams were made of, and there he was, singing, dancing, smiling, shaking his butt and no more than 10 ft away from me. Only a line of grumpy looking bouncers separating the "Idol" from a bunch of mainly middle aged screaming women. ( But not all were female I hasten to add!) They really were not prepared for the move forward and their lack of preparation gave us the opportunity to get very close, coupled with the fact Ange and I had made friends with a young man at the end of our aisle earlier in the evening, I'm sure he turned a blind eye as we rushed past. I'm not a selfish person, but hand on heart here I gave no consideration for anyone except me and my friend ... and we were there right in front of him. I could see the eyes beyond the glasses, the drips of sweat on his forehead, the hair on the back of his hand, the glint of his jewelry in the light ... and those teeth, oh God those teeth!!!
Moving on .... his vocals were perfect, his lyrics ... well almost perfect. :)  His larger than life personality on stage and his charisma as usually charming us all from the moment he steps into the room. The band and backing singers were perfect too .. yeah that's the word "Perfect" It sums it all up ...The whole night was just perfect!
So now I'm home, even with very little sleep I'm still buzzing. My laptop is having a heart attack as it tries to upload over a 100 photos ... the best one's I've ever had. I'm ready for the ridicule and backlash which will surely follow .. doesn't it always! I find it apt to repeat what Carrie once told me, "don't bother trying to explain to people who don't want to understand." I love that line and use it a lot. But really I don't care if they don't understand, I just wish they would try and be happy for me, maybe they could try and realise what this means to me. Is that too much to ask?  I got away from it all, for just a few hours nothing else mattered. I didn't have to think of Louis' illness, of Abi getting old, of my health problems, of animal cruelty, of my van falling apart, of Steve's situation and the rollercoster affects on our life ...I spent my evening with like minded people who totally get it. I just had the best time, freed my minds of it's stresses and worries. I've come back mentally a healthier person and my only wish is that I too was following my friends on the final leg of the tour down to Earl's Court, sadly for me this time it's not to be ...
Anyway I had the time of my life ... For that I thank you George Michael

M.E.N

Last night for me was superior to the last MEN concert. New tracks .. Star People and something called "Fear." Vocals were flawless, sound was better, atmosphere tremendous... Wonderful wonderful performance. Though I Remember you was outstanding, White Light was missed :(
The only thing that came close to spoiling the night was three pissed scousers arguing behind us for most of the concert. Geri at one point asked them to please be quite, they obliged for about 10 mins!!! Shame on them, someone else would have loved those tickets!!!!
Liverpool tonight - great seats too, the best for us!

Different Walks

Jezi, Me, Nico, Louis and Finlay

Asha, Ziva, Tali and Mikey at the back

After some thought I decided to change my walking routine today. There were a couple of reasons that came to mind really. Jezi and Ziva are really winding each other up on the walks and generally getting on everybody else' nerves; and I thought it would be nice for Nico to have someone young to run with. It worked a treat, give or take a few teething problems. Because Ziva didn't have Jezi to torment she tormented Mikey instead and was lucky to avoid a bashing from Tali. Nico in the same light had a telling off from Jezi after all she's a lady and not interested in such things!!! I'll let you figure that one out for yourself!!!

Pwllheli C.S

Ziva won her GSD junior class today at Pwllheli with Jezi 4th in the same class. There was no BOB for a Blanik dog today but I was over the moon with Ziva's performance. She didn't put a foot wrong and after a bad start to her career that means the world. In the photo she's standing for the judge to
write his critique.

Though Nico was entered I had no intention of showing him, but Angela Jones bullied me into letting Mark take him in ... only joking, thanks both of you, it was the right decision. And a huge thanks to Ang for standing him for this super photo.

Mikey was "on something" and spent most of his time leaping in the air or standing on 2 legs...what a dog! Good thing he makes me laugh...all in a days showing eh!

Nico In Ulm

Just thought I'd share this photo of Nico and Jim that Heather posted on Facebook. Jim was very fond of Nico, and vice versa I think. He described him as a "bloody good boy one of the very best."  I have no doubts, he's right, he's a cracking boy!
Nico is very well travelled, he's been in Belgium, Holland and several places in Germany ... and I've only been out of the UK once!!! Ah well maybe he'll take me with him next time eh!
