Rollercoster Going Up!

I've just got back from the vet with Louis, he's put on almost 2kg in 11 days. I really am dead chuffed. Anyway, as you know he had a b12 injection 11 days ago, he's had one today and will have one a week now for a couple of weeks. Then he's going to have one every couple of weeks and hopefully get down to one a month, which will be a life long process. They will teach us to give him the injection once the dose is sorted.
The vet referred to the condition as "Similar" to pernicious anemia in people, so maybe not exactly the same thing. All I know is my dog looked like he was dying 11 days ago and now he's full of life ... Though still a little (well a lot) skinny
