Looking Hot Mr Michael

My name is Rhian Stanley, I'm 43 years old and Live on a mountain in North Wales..... see I haven't completely lost the plot!! But yeah I was up at 2am, much to Mikey Mikey's dismay....and was it worth it? Too Bloody right, to see my man it's always worth it :-)
I have no interest in Royalty, or the Wedding. Though I don't have a problem with them and I wish them luck and happiness. But The Wedding has given me joy in a round about way, it's given me/us two unexpected George interviews and another fantastic ballard to listen too on those sensitive moments.
Also, I particularly loved one of George's tweets today, he said ... "One of the things I feel about people who like my music is that they are positive, compassionate people." Strange he should say that when "we" as fans have often discussed are similarities, the majority of us being animal lovers who can not comprehend separatism of any kind. You may remember I previously commented "give my love and compassion over war and religion any day...."

CNN

George Today (With "Our" David in the background) arriving at the CNN London studio to record an interview for The Piers Morgan show. Yes you've guessd it...this idiot will be up at 2am again!!!

He said: 'It’s quite scary, but in a good way. I think it’s interesting, because if the Beeb had asked me to do something or ITV I might not have been able to get my head around it, because I think they’d have wanted something a bit more serious and a bit more po-faced.

'And it’s not that E! aren’t treating it with any good degree of reverence, but at the same time it’s a bit more fun I think.'

A Crisis of Conscience?

Well, no, not for me!
Blanik Boys, Rescue Dog Finlay with Homebred Mikey and Louis.
In my world at least there's room for being enthusiastic about breeding and showing my German Shepherds and being passionate about welfare and rescue. To be honest, considering myself a dog lover and responsible breeder I find the two things go hand in hand. My heart goes out to all the animals waiting for homes in rescue centres. I think pet owners should be discouraged from having that "one" litter and encouraged to neuter their pets. (whether pedigree or crossbreed) People who choose to take on an animal from a rescue centre need to be applauded; but I'm well aware that rescue is not for everyone. Some people will always want "that breed " of dog whether it's for a particular reason, or not (I.e showing, working or just as a pet.) In my opinion the people who choose to buy a pedigree dog need help and advice. They need to be put on the right path to find a puppy of their chosen breed from a responsible breeder with screened, health tested parents, therefore taking "trade" away from the evil puppy farms and back-yard breeders.
Beautiful Blade
Having been bought up around Rough collies I first fell in love with the German Shepherd breed when I was attending a local dog training class in the late 70ies. I remember so clearly, a long-coated male called Crusader simply took my breath away. I made the decision back then that one day I would have a Long Coat German Shepherd and I would call him Blade! Well I almost got it right and my first GSD, Blade, a normal coated male was born in February of 1991.
I am passionate about the breed, and breeding to improve on health, temperament and the construction of the breed is paramount. Like in many breeds, a lack of standards and indiscriminate breeding almost bought this breed to it's knees, but with the dedication of  responsible breeders and support from other parties the breed is "healthier" than it has ever been.
In the 8 years that I've been working for a rescue organisation I'd say that we've had 8-10 GSD's in needing re-homing. Too many I know, but in my opinion not one of them has been bred by a responsible breeder. Some have loosely fitted the description of a German Shepherds, others have been closer to the standard; but not one of them has had any form of identification. All responsible breeders microchip or tattoo their pups so that if they end up lost or within rescue they can easily be traced back to the owner or breeder. Responsible breeders do not have an ulterior motive, they do not chip so they can have the animal back for breeding at a later date, they do it because the care. They have brought this precious life into the world, so therefore they believe it's their responsibility to care for it for the rest of it's life, otherwise how could they justify bringing it into the world?

The answer seems simple, bring in tighter laws to eradicate puppy farms and support the responsible breeder, surely this must be the only way forward. Of course what seems simple to me, in the real world may be totally unrealistic. To achieve anything the government would need to spend time and money getting to grips with the situation, and in the present climate who can seriously see them doing that?. One very small but huge step forward would be for more breeder to take responsibility for their homebred animals throughout their lives, and equally for owners to honor the contracts they sign when purchasing a puppy. This would take much needed pressure off some of the struggling rescue centres throughout the country. It would also benefit all parties if rescue centres and responsible breeders could settle their differences and learn to work together for the sake of the dogs who need their help. It would also be wonderful to see show enthusiasts and hobby breeders opening their doors to at least one rescue dog! In my home there has always been room for the "show team" as well as the rescue dogs.
My enthusiasm and passion for this breed will not change, but neither will my dedication to help those who are genuinely in need.

A Conversation With My God

George was posting photos of his Garden on twitter when the following conversation occurred, needless to say, I'm still trembling.... (The timelines are all mixed up as it took me time to compose myself and go back to copy and paste the tweets, but I promise the tweets are in order)
For anyone who may doubt that this is actually George, it is a verified account which he opened live on the "Chris Evans Breakfast Show." Also to-date he has made several announcements regarding his personal life and his career on twitter, making sure the fans hear the truth straight from him and not by reading lies and second hand information in the gutterpress.
If your a friend and your wondering why I haven't told you about this, I'm afraid it's simple .... This means the world to me so I'm protecting myself, no one is going to get the opportunity to piss on my parade this time!!!

Not Just Me Then....

I'm posting this note which a friend wrote on facebook, I could not have said it any better.....and thanks Jules for letting me re-post it.

To Whom This May Concern :
Earlier this evening ~ I received a personal message from a "friend," that expressed dismay over my GM statuses. As they have increased in frequency, they were "annoying" this "friend." I was being "forewarned" that I was about to be put on hide, if I did not scale back.
WELL, EXCUSE ME ....
I said my peace to this friend ~ but, certainly did not apologize for my actions or lack in judgment. I do not take highly to the "threat" of being placed on hide within someone's newsfeed ...Please ~ go for the juggler, delete me ~ do us both a favor.
After debating this message ~ I thought others could be feeling the same way. Once again, I am not offering an apology for placing statuses that are important to myself and to some of my friends ~ however, I do want those that feel my statuses are "clogging" up your newsfeeds OR you are just plain 'ole sick and tired of looking at anything "GM." If you are unable to just pass them on by ... or, you feel frustrated by them ... please ~ save yourself the aggravation and just simply delete our friendship. I would truly understand.
I am far beyond my years to be a teenage fanatic ... I am not a "hopeless cause" ... I do not live in a dreamworld ... nor, do I need to grow up. Besides the fact, that I thoroughly love and enjoy George Michael's music ... he also became the bridge that has built many of my treasured friendships ... and, do to very personal reasons ~ his music will continue to be a major part of my life. It is a part of who I am. I like to think as we travel in time, we define ourselves and place within our lives what will make us more fulfilled and happy ... and during a time of solitude, bring us peace and joy.
So, my friends ... This is part of who I am ... My spiritual beliefs, The love of my family and friends, my work, and my music. I will not change a thing.
Thank you ~Jules

A month or so ago, I wrote this "note" concerning a friend's dismay regarding my GM statuses ... I wanted to share my thoughts on this subject, just in case ANYONE else had issues with said statuses, as well. APPARENTLY, my note escaped a person, possibly others; as I just received a message asking me "Why I was 'over my head' with a Gay Man." I'm sure most of you know, what my reply would be to that ridiculous question ~ before I bid my farewell.

I AM REPOSTING THIS NOTE ... I STILL STAND STRONG ~ IF NOT STRONGER ~ REGARDING MY FEELINGS ON THIS MATTER. IF ANYONE WITHIN MY FRIEND'S LIST (WHETHER YOU ARE A FAMILY MEMBER OR A FRIEND (PAST AND/OR PRESENT), HARBOR ANY TYPE OF ILL FEELINGS TOWARD MYSELF AS A PERSON; OR MY STATUSES (WHETHER GEORGE RELATED OR THE CAUSES I DEEPLY BELIEVE IN) ... PLEASE, DO BOTH YOU AND I FAVOR AND DELETE ME ! I WILL TRY TO UNDERSTAND YOUR INTOLERANCE. I WILL NOT CHANGE MY LIFE AND HOW I CONDUCT MYSELF ... MY BELIEFS ARE MY PERSONAL CONVICTIONS TO WHO I AM ~ THIS IS MY LIFE ... NOT YOURS.
I WELCOME MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WITH OPEN ARMS AND WITH AS MUCH LOVE AND SUPPORT I CAN OFFER ... HOWEVER, I DO NOT HAVE TIME, 'FOR THE HATERS.'
END OF SUBJECT.
Jules

Panic Stations

When I got in from work today Steve was concerned that Kiri was showing signs of pain around her face and head area. I was praying that after all these years that the MMM has not returned. We could barely touch her, but her mouth did seem to be opening reasonably normally. I was hopefully it was something like a sting or toothache, not that I'd wish that on her, but it's the easier option all round
The vet couldn't examine her face as it's so swollen and too painful, but thankfully she thinks it's just a sting. She suggested that, following Kiri's past record she probably ate whatever it was anyway. Kiri was not amused!!!
This evening, following the injection she's totally spaced out, even missing her dinner. With a bit of luck she'll soon make up for that!

You And I

Yes, I was one of the idiots who got up at 2am, put the TV on to see you and the laptop on ready to download. So many of us were up and about and twittering between 2 and 3 am, it was just great, like a big party of GM lovers. I had to be at work by 8am so today I'm not even sure of my own name, let alone yours. I'm someone who really needs my sleep. Was it worth it?...no question of course it was! When one is ready to hit rock bottom thankfully there's always a Georgios to dig one out! Ok now then my Sexy Greek God, I need something else to focus on, to look forward too...What next dear George?

In His Own Words Tonight
"Good Evening my lovelies.... I'm so happy that you like the song!!..... The response has been phenomenal ..... Sorry i had a conversation with my feet people.... You know how I am with cameras...."
