Look At Your Hands
Our Finlay
Did you breed this dog? Were you comfortable with your conscience when you bred a litter of non-standard coloured long coats? Did you register and microchip this litter? Did you sell this dog to a loving family?Did you check them out for suitability to have one of your precious babies? Did you keep in touch to see how he was doing? So where is he now? How is he doing? Do you know? Bet you don't!
Was this your dog? So did you buy him as a puppy? What was his name? Did you research the breed? Did you play with him and cuddle him? Did you take him out to socialise him, take him to training classes and walk him on the beach? Did you watch him dream as he slept in front of your fire? Did you brush his heavy coat and wash his muddy paws? Where you proud with the comments people made about him? Where did it all go wrong? I guess when he grew up!
Did you smack him across the face for disobeying a command? Did you scream and shout when he carried mud into your house? Did you shut him out because he was loosing his coat on your carpet? Did you kick him up the bum because he cried to come in? Why was he out on the road? Why did he end up in the pound? Why didn't you go and get him? Why didn't you pay the fine? Why did you leave him there to die? Do you know where he is now? Do you care? Bet you don't!
